My niece is about to become a sister

This is Molly.

She's soon about to have a sibling. Her parents have waited more than one week now for the little one to pop out, but so far nothing has happened. I talked to my brother yesterday and he said that if nothing happens within this week they'll have to provoke the delivery.

Last week they prepared everything, leaving Molly and Maja (below) and Mysan to relatives - but nothing happened.

So we're all waiting.

More Easter photos

Because of all snow that came this winter, there's plenty of water in the nature this spring.Normally this is dry land with no stream running here, but it's caused by all water from the melting snow.

There's plenty of water in the river too. This is the waterfall by the lake we use to go to in the summers. There's another waterfall beside this one. Some centuries ago there was a iron factory here, some kind of big smithy I think. You can see an old foundation of a house next to the river when you go there.

And this photo is taken in the opposite direction of the waterfall. See the trees in the middle of the stream? Normally they stand dry during summers...

Here are some photos from my Easter holiday, when I was in Växjö to visit my family.

This is my mom's kitchen table. That hen is probable as old as I am; I've seen that hen on pics from when I was a small child.

Torpet, "the cottage", is the name of this house. Here I've spent many summers with my family. Now it's spring, and all the dust will need to be cleaned off. Maybe one should clean the roof, but I think it's pretty charming with those green shades. This house has no bathroom indoors, and no warm water. The bathroom is only a three person outdoor toilet - who said anything about a shower or bathtub?? And if you want to, you can bring your friends!

A house that no longer exist. With trees growing through its foundation. This house was demolished in the 1970's, which means that these tall trees are not more than 35 years old at top. The house in the background is partly the toilet, partly a shed with lots of useful and unuseful stuff. Once I found a mouse skeleton inside a glass bottle in there.

Eurovision song contest: The Swedish winner

Better late than never.

I forgot to tell who won the preselection. Carola won with the song 'Evighet' (that means eternity). But the English title is 'Invincible'. Maybe Carola wants to be invincible in eternity - I think that is one of the things she asks God for. I wonder if she has direct connection to Him, just as presidents Bush and Putin have. Just lift the phone and He'll answer.

Carola is convinced she'll win, or at least that is what the newspapers say. I think she ought to be just slightly more humble, she does have to take Sweden through the semifinal, May 18 I think it is. Two days later, then it's Big Time! I wonder if Swedish Television will broadcast even if we won't make it. 23 countries will compete in the semifinal, and only 10 will make it to the final. That means that 13 countries will have to leave the competition.

So, as a competitive patriot, even if I don't like her- go Carola!

New things in my life

A new spring.

A new business.

A new bike.

A new will to do better than before.

I think I'll get a better grip on what I need to do this year. Complete my studies, build up my company, get some muscles in my weak body, build up a future with my man. These are some things that I need to do. The starting shot has already been fired - so, off you go! What are you waiting for??
